1. Privacy Policy

Another Angle Counseling Services, LLC ("AAC," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 2114 N. Flamingo Road, #2393, Pembroke Pines, FL 33028, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information gathered through our website, anotheranglecounseling.com (the "Site"). This Policy applies to website visitors and prospective clients interacting with our Site — it does not describe how we handle Protected Health Information (PHI) for established clients, which is governed separately by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, provided at the start of clinical care.

Effective Date: July 28, 2026     Last Updated: July 28, 2026

1.1 Categories of Personally Identifiable Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personally identifiable information (PII) when you visit or interact with our Site:

●       Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, and preferred language, submitted through contact forms, waitlist sign-ups, or scheduling requests.

●       Inquiry content: the general reason for your inquiry or any message you voluntarily include in a form or email.

●       Internet/network activity: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring/exit pages, and pages visited on the Site, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

●       Geolocation data (approximate): general location inferred from IP address, used only to help confirm Florida residency where relevant to clinical service eligibility.

We do not collect payment card information directly on this Site; billing is handled through separate, secure third-party platforms described below. We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, or financial account numbers through the Site.

1.2 How We Use Information

We use the information collected to:

●       Respond to inquiries and schedule consultations;

●       Maintain and improve the Site's functionality and content;

●       Send administrative communications (e.g., confirming a waitlist submission);

●       Understand how visitors use the Site through aggregated analytics; and

●       Comply with applicable legal and professional obligations.

We do not sell personal information collected through this Site to third parties, and we do not use it for any purpose materially different from those described in this Policy without providing notice and, where required, obtaining consent.

1.3 Categories of Third Parties With Whom We Share Information

We use trusted third-party platforms to operate our practice and website. We share limited PII, as necessary, with the following categories of third parties:

●       Website hosting and forms providers (e.g., Squarespace) — to operate and maintain the Site and process form submissions.

●       Billing and administrative platforms (e.g., Alma, Sessions Health) — to process insurance and administrative billing functions.

●       Practice management / electronic health record (EHR) providers (e.g., Sessions Health, Alma)— to support scheduling and HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation for established clients.

●       Email, calendar, and communication service providers — to send and receive practice-related correspondence.

●       Analytics providers (if enabled) — to help us understand aggregated, non-identifying trends in Site usage.

We do not share PII with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. Where clinical or health information is involved, we use providers that enter into Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) as required under HIPAA.

1.4 Third-Party Behavioral Tracking Disclosure

Some of the third-party providers we use (for example, our website hosting platform or any analytics tool we enable) may place cookies or use similar technologies that could allow them to collect information about your online activity on this Site, and potentially across other websites over time, for purposes such as aggregated analytics. We do not currently permit third parties to use such data to serve you individually targeted advertising on other sites ("cross-site behavioral advertising"). If this changes, we will update this Policy and our Cookie Notice accordingly.

1.5 Cookies and Analytics

Our Site may use cookies and similar tracking technologies. Please see our separate Cookie Notice below for full details, including how to manage your preferences.

1.6 How We Respond to "Do Not Track" Signals

As required under CalOPPA, we disclose here how we respond to web browser "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals: our Site does not currently alter its data-collection practices when it detects a DNT signal from your browser, as no uniform industry standard for interpreting such signals has been adopted. We are not currently aware of any third parties operating on our Site that collect PII about your online activities over time and across different websites for purposes beyond aggregated analytics.

1.7 Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information collected through the Site from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

1.8 Data Retention

We retain website inquiry and contact information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, maintain business records, or comply with legal, licensing, and insurance obligations. Clinical records for established clients are retained in accordance with Florida Board of Clinical Social Work record-retention requirements (currently a minimum of 7 years for adult clients, or longer as required by law).

1.9 Your Rights and Choices — Reviewing and Correcting Your Information

Consistent with CalOPPA's requirement that operators describe the process (if any) by which a user may review and request changes to their PII, you may:

●       Request a copy of the contact/inquiry information we hold about you submitted through the Site;

●       Request that we correct inaccurate contact information, or delete it (subject to legal recordkeeping requirements for anyone who has become an established client);

●       Opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us directly; and

●       Manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or our cookie consent tool.

To make any of these requests, contact us using the information in Section 1.11 below. We will respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days.

Florida does not currently impose a general consumer data privacy law applicable to a practice of this size (the Florida Digital Bill of Rights applies only to larger businesses meeting specific revenue and data-processing thresholds). We nonetheless honor the data rights described above as a matter of practice. Florida's Information Protection Act (FIPA, Fla. Stat. § 501.171) governs our obligations in the event of a data breach involving personal information, including notification requirements to affected individuals and, where applicable, the Florida Department of Legal Affairs.

1.10 Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Our Site and our clinical and educational services are intended exclusively for adult women and are not directed to, marketed to, or designed for children. In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

●       This Site is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect, use, store, or disclose personal information from anyone we know to be under 13.

●       Our contact forms, waitlist sign-ups, and other data-collection features are not designed for use by children and should only be completed by an adult.

●       We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to submit personal information without verifiable parental consent, and we do not use any such information for marketing or any purpose beyond immediate deletion.

●       If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information from our records promptly.

●       Parents or legal guardians who believe their child under 13 may have submitted personal information to us through the Site may contact us at any time to request that we review, disclose, and/or delete that information — see contact details below.

More broadly (beyond the COPPA-specific protections above), our services are intended for adults 18 and older, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from any individual under 18 through this Site. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.

1.11 How We Notify You of Changes to This Policy

As required under CalOPPA, we describe here our process for notifying users of material changes to this Privacy Policy: we will post the revised Policy on this page and update the "Last Updated" date at the top. For material changes that significantly affect how we use previously collected PII, we will provide additional notice — such as a prominent notice on the Site homepage or a direct email to affected individuals where we have contact information on file — before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
